OK !!! Even less happy now..

Hit the scratch with the polish and buffer at the detailers and BAM, went straight through to the undercoat past the metallic blue colour, now have a ugly white patch on the side of the car. Off to the holden dealer to complain I went. Detailer said they have never seen paint so thin and weak in their life.........

Holden service girl said could be what the detailer used, but thats BS...... so will get a letter off the detailer and take it into holden and they can take pictures and send it to their head office........... am gonna make them pay for it no matter what !!

Anyone else had this issue before ? I think the US version has gone through a much bigger paintjob then the ones made in Korea....... by looking at the Cruze Video's that have been posted......

Damn... Yeah I would definitely talk to holden about that.

Cruzes made in North America have to be made at a premium quality or else GM knows their reputation will be thrown into a pit and burnt alive as they did with the Cavaliers and the Cobalt's flaws.

I hope you get it fixed one way or another without having to dip into your own pocket... let us know how it goes!!

OK, took it in, Holden played the blame game and said the Detailers went about repaiing the scratch all wrong..... said they should have painted the scratch, let it set then buff off...... but then I said what about where the buffer has just gone straight to undercoat !!! So they took pictures, and emailed then to holden head office and will see what happens from there......... OH well...... have to wait with it looking like crap.... that my issue.

So far for my 2010 CRUZE I have the following installed:

    Weathertech floor liners
    vent visors
    Air Deflectors

Exterior - Alloy Wheels, Spoiler (if you like them), mudflaps (mine go on this weekend) and I want some chrome door handles.
Awesome, alloy wheels I have been looking for, yet cannot find one. I do hope they come in Powder Black Coat or Black Chrome.

Given the 'fully loaded' version I just got from auto parts have the chrome door handles and the mudflaps already! I've opened a thread regarding whether or not to buy a spoiler in another section -
I would also want those mud flaps. It can get really muddy when the downpour hits the Pacific coast.
