Hi Guys
I have a 2010 Holden Cruze CDX. I fitted a new RAC maintenance free battery and inside a week found the engine bay covered in battery acid due to the magic eye inspection lens blowing out of the battery. RAC say the alternator is faulty and overcharged the battery so won't repair the damage but they have tested the car 5 times and every time the alternator is ok.
No problems before this battery or since it was replaced. Any ideas? Anyone else have have a similar experience with a Cruze? Or with an RAC battery?
