I have a 160 ft lb torque wrench and I need to torque to 177ft lbs?
This is a hub bearing nut on a 2003 4wd Yukon. What should I do to ensure I get the proper torque? I could tighten, torque to 160 and give it a slight tap on the end of a breaker bar with a rubber mallet or something like that? Been told not to overtorque. Any suggestions?
