It should do you have petrol or diesal? both should be ok just make sure the tow bar is rated
My dad used to tow his 16.5 foot JCraft skiboat with a Dodge Neon. You should be OK.
i think ford or GMC will do this job correctly, i have towed approx 1550 lb with my ford raptor truck and also i have towed 1400lb weight with gmc truck when i was working with Manhattan blocked driveway towing company.
Both Generation Cruzes' can handle 1000 lbs (454 kgs)
